About sixty quality series from the private channel HBO have disappeared from OCS. The French platform, however, keeps some arguments in its catalog. Here are some productions that are still on OCS.
OCS has experienced a big loss since January 1, 2023: around sixty series from the HBO channel have just left, partially or entirely, their catalog. The fault of the expiration of an exclusive broadcasting contract that the French platform had established for years with the American group.
HBO, through the Warner group, however, has other expansion projects – there is talk of an SVOD platform that would host its programs, without knowing yet whether it will be called HBO Max or have another name.
It would be hypocritical to say that the OCS catalog is still as interesting on January 1, 2023 as before: the French subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) platform was a reference in terms of qualitative series. True Detective, Westworld, Watchmen, the Sopranos, The Wire, Game of Thrones… Many series have now disappeared. But, at a time when the various SVOD services are multiplying, it is very likely that French women and men will have to accept that their favorite series and films can be found in different places, on different platforms.
For 10.99 euros per month, OCS becomes quite expensive compared to the 8.99 euros of Disney + or Netflix. But, its catalog still contains beautiful productions that are worth a look. Here is a sample.
House of the Dragon
We no longer present House of the Dragonthe spin-off of Game Of Thrones which shook the world of series in the fall of 2022. The 10 episodes of the HBO show are still available – and very highlighted by OCS, since it unfortunately lost the rights to its big sister.
The White Lotus
You really should catch up on satire The White Lotus on OCS, we told you last November. Well, we’re still hooked: life for the rich has never been funnier than in this well-crafted tragicomedy.
Betty
Series Betty is quite simply one of HBO’s finest achievements of recent years: its modest storytelling is put to use as a feminist portrayal of a generation of female skaters in nonchalant New York, and it’s a delight to watch.
Mr Robot
Surely you have already heard of Mr Robot, the series that has best represented the mysterious world of hackers over the past decade. Luckily, this one did not come from HBO, but from USA Network: it is therefore still available on OCS.
Tasks
The French original series of OCS is one of its most original and ambitious productions. Numerama liked it a lot when it came out.
Irresponsible
Irresponsible is not very young, but it is the French series of Frédéric Rosset which really marked the entry of OCS in the qualitative original creation.
Irma Vep
Alicia Vikander is amazing in Irma Vepthe excellent mini-series released in 2022 on HBO and co-produced by OCS.
The Handmaid’s Tale
If it had its ups and downs, The Handmaid’s Tale remains a production that has marked the landscape of the series. His five seasons are online on OCS.
30Rock
Tina Fey’s comedy series may have been released 15 years ago, but it remains a reference in the world of comedies, thanks to its irreverent tone, its meta jokes and its “handheld camera” aspect which gives it a charm particular.

The Nevers
A true feminist manifesto against all forms of discrimination, The Nevers highlights independent and powerful heroines. Although a little long around the edges, its first season is ideal for holiday binge-watching.

OCS has many other original series: Toutouyoutou, 3615 Monique, Jeune et Golri, Hashtag Boomer, Platonic, Brothers…
