In the first week of May the amounts of traffic fines were updated based on a resolution of the Subsecretariat for Policy and Road Safety of the Ministry of Transportation of the province of Buenos Aires. As of July, there will be an increase again and the values will be renewed.
The current table that specifies the offenses that are penalized and their updated values indicates that the double parking -one of the usual scenes in the streets and avenues of La Plata- can be punished with a minimum of 100 modules and a maximum of 300, that is to say $25.680 y $77.040respectively.

Article 1 of the resolution dated April 28, 2023 establishes that “for the sole purpose of determining the value of the fines, as of May 1, 2023 and for the two-month period between the months of May and June of the same year, the value of 1 (one) UF (fixed unit) in the sum of pesos two hundred and fifty-six and eighty cents ($256.80), as reported by the Automóvil Club Argentino based in the city of La Plata” . The reference is the liter of premium gasoline from YPF, Infinia.
