WhatsApp expands to 15 people who can be invited to a group video call on Android

MADRID, (Portaltic/EP) – WhatsApp has increased the number of members that can be invited to a video call, which until now was 7 contacts in its Android version and has now reached a maximum of 15 users.

To start a video call, you can either access it from an already created user group or from the ‘Calls’ tab. At the bottom of the interface. So, the platform offers three options.

These are ‘New call link’ -to send it to a maximum of 5 people in the phonebook-, ‘New contact’ -to add data, such as first name, last name and first name- and ‘New group call’.

In the latter case, WhatsApp allows you to select a maximum of seven people. With this, it informs that, once the call begins, they will be able to join, since it allows up to a maximum of 32 users to join these video calls during their course.

The company has introduced a change in this limit, since in the latest beta of WhatsApp for Android the number of users has been increased to a maximum of 15 members. This has been verified by WABetaInfo in version 2.23.15.14 of the application.

Those interested will be able to access this feature as long as they download the latest version released through the Google Play beta program, although it is expected that it will reach more users soon.
