The new episode of Quick Talk Event is finally back! So that the rest of the week doesn’t get too boring, Melanie, Benjamin, Ben and Ana will freshen up your gaming week after Easter with exciting questions. Thanks to our listeners, there are even two questions about hardware today. Grab something nice to drink, sit back and enjoy the new episode!

Which gaming add-on hardware did you spend the most money on?

This episode focuses on hardware. Here we unpack the really big guns and discuss which expensive additional equipment is really worthwhile. You’ll be surprised what Benjamin and Ben spent the most money on – one of them even paid a four-figure sum. I’m sure he would say it was worth it. Then it gets exciting, because especially for computer main Melanie, the question arises as to what really counts as an add-on in a PC setup. After that has been clarified, we can agree on one thing that is perhaps less enlightening than we thought: What is really worthwhile as additional hardware is purely a matter of taste.

Do you remember Wipeout Pure? What console was that on again? We would definitely like to have them back in an improved form!

Which console should have been more popular? Which console would you like to see a next generation of?

This viewer question asked us CaptainQuasar! If you have any questions, please write them in the comments, because then we will add them to our question pool and maybe they will make it into the next episode.

Phew, that was an amazingly emotional question because it brought up a lot of good memories. Without hesitation, Ben thought of the Dreamcast, which would have liked to have been able to accompany him longer. In the end, though, we ended up in a wrestling match between Steam Deck and Switch. The two handhelds are probably still in great competition with each other. But which console we really want back — and here’s a clear favorite — you’ll have to find out for yourself!

What character development did you not see coming?

Although you have a fundamental say in the course of Vincent’s story, Catherine still has an exciting character development in store for the protagonist.

We end the videocast on a topic that could contain a lot of spoilers. Still, we wanted to think about what character development we didn’t see coming and why. In order not to go too far, you might want to skip this part if you have similar gaming tastes to mine. In other words: games from Japan, because in JRPGs or visual novels there are many unpredictable twists that focus on the characters. So, if you still want to experience Ace Attorney, Catherine, Fire Emblem Three Houses, The Stanley Parable or Resident Evil 4 yourself, you should better listen. We also mentioned The Last of Us and God of War, but you can probably already guess the twist with Kratos.

Which gaming equipment is the most expensive that you have lying around and which console would you like a remake of? Let us know in the comments!
