Wild Hearts is coming soon to hunt in Monster Hunter Rise territory and it’s pulling out all the stops in a monstrous new gameplay sequence.

The Monster Hunter like from EA and Koei Tecmo only has a few weeks left to try to seduce players in need of big critters. While Monster Hunter Rise recently got a second life on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One, Wild Hearts will arrive on February 17 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
EA’s new monster intends to make a name for itself alongside the Capcom giant, even if it means pulling out its fangs. As a reminder, Wild Hearts is developed by the team behind the Dynasty Warriors or Toukiden, the latter was also a Monster Hunter like.

Wild Hearts prepares to take on Monster Hunter for good

He’s back today in all-new gameplay footage captured on PS5 to show us what he’s got up his sleeve. We see several hunters fighting a huge tiger that seems to be possessed, the Golden Tempest. The game promises to be particularly dynamic with the possibility of summoning a wide range of tools thanks to a small mystical object, twirling in the air using combos or structures built on the thumb in real time and even d to use colossal weapons.

If there are a lot of things that remind Monster Hunter, visibly, the game still seems to bet a maximum on the dynamism of its fights. Visually in any case, the artistic direction seems charming and the animations rather successful, in particular that of the monster, immense and particularly violent.
The game will be playable alone or in cooperation and will send us into a universe very inspired by Japanese folklore where we will have to face a good number of gigantic creatures all linked to one or more natural elements. But for now, the game has remained quite mysterious about its universe and its plot.
However, it should tell us more in the coming days, shortly before its release.
