At least if Peter Jönsson, who organizes the annual event together with his daughters Ida and Moa Nilsson, is to be believed.
– I think every year that it must be the last time. Then you get here, hear the cars and see the first child whose eyes twinkle. Then you know that this is worth everything and then some, he says.
Full day for experienced families
The participants are children and families who struggle in different ways with a tough everyday life. Peter and his friends line up with their sports cars and offer a full day on the motor track.
SVT Nyheter Helsingborg was on site in the bustle and met, among others, the couple Frida and Oliver Halling with their 3-year-old son William. He is finally on the road to recovery after being seriously ill with cancer since his first year of life.
– A wonderful day. After all the time we spent in hospital with William in the last two years, it feels fantastic to be able to find out about this, says mother Frida.
