Microsoft Windows 11 not only has a subsystem for Linus in its belly, but also for Android. For insiders they are currently distributing the update 2301.40000.4.0which brings improvements to the built-in Android.
Among other things, the latency of the audio input has been improved, metadata from the camera is passed on to camera apps and the performance has improved significantly. Microsoft speaks of a concrete improvement of 10 to 20 percent on ARM and 40 to 50 percent on x64. In addition, the Chromium Webview has been updated to version 108, privacy settings of the camera and microphone now sync between Windows and Android apps and the latest security updates for Android have been installed.
