Winter comeback – It will be frosty from Saturday

Windy, cold, sub-zero temperatures – Saturday brings the most unpleasant side of winter to the country. On Sunday the sun at least partly dares to come out again, but it’s still cold.

Dry and again very mild weather on Friday with a westerly flow. It will be quite sunny in most regions, partly sunny in the north from Lake Constance to the Vorderwald. With the approach of a cold front, it will cloud over from the north-west in the afternoon to evening and it will begin to rain, snowfall level around 1500 meters. Temperatures are going down slightly. Lively to strong westerly winds in northern Vorarlberg and generally on the mountains. Lows: -1 to +5 degrees. Maximum values: 8 to 12 degrees.

Except for a few snowflakes in the Kleinwalsertal and near the Arlberg, it should mostly stay dry and at least be partly sunny during the day. A strong, cold north-easterly wind is blowing on the mountains, also in the area around Lake Constance and in the Vorderwald. Lows: -6 to -1 degrees. Maximum values: -2 to +4 degrees.

Rather dry and cold late winter weather on Monday, it is very cold in the mountains. It should be partly cloudy, partly sunny. Windy from the south on the mountains. Lows: -10 to -5 degrees. Maximum values: -1 to +4 degrees.
