It was a pleasant hiking day when the senior hikers started the new hiking year after a rainy night.

After a welcome to the coming hiking season and the New Year’s wishes from Wf. Josef G., the first leisurely hike in Lorüns and further up the “Prazalanz” meadows began. After crossing the so-called tear stream we reached the highlight of this hike. All participants were enthusiastic about the wonderfully decorated Christmas forest. We would like to thank Mrs. Jolanda Gasperi for the extensive work and for her idealism. After a leisurely stop at Gasthof Adler, we hiked the Illweg back to Lorüns.

The weekly senior hike takes place every Tuesday under the motto: “We do something for our health and get to know our beautiful “Ländle””. The hikes are organized and accompanied by Wf. J. Gantner. The outward and return journeys always take place with public transport. The walking times are suitable for seniors, between 1 ½ and 4 hours. For information see www.seniorenclub-bludenz.at
