In these conditions, Bison Futé recommends avoiding the A43 motorway, between Lyon and Chambéry, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The main difficulties should remain localized in the Alpine massifs, with a view to the practice of winter sports”, specifies Bison Futé.

Note that you must have winter equipment (winter or four-season tires, or removable equipment on board) to travel on the roads of the mountain departments. An obligation for two years, which is not yet verbalizable, but remains an essential security element.

The rest of the weekend, including Friday, is rated green by the traffic forecasting body.

The school holidays for Zone B (Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Caen, Lille, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Nice, Orléans-Tours, Reims, Rennes, Rouen and Strasbourg) will start on Saturday February 11, those for Zone C ( Créteil, Montpellier, Paris, Toulouse and Versailles) on February 18.
