It was announced that Adams had joined the cast of McKay’s upcoming film Average Height, Average Build last March, it was also revealed that Robert Pattinson, Robert Downey Jr. and Forest Whitaker had signed on to appear in the feature.
The upcoming comedy film will center on a serial killer who enlists the help of a lobbyist to make it easier for him to claim more victims.
The Lighthouse star will play the killer, while Adams and Downey Jr. will play the lobbyist and a retired police officer who takes an interest in the criminal. In addition to directing the upcoming film, McKay will be one of its producers.
Notably, Amy Adams was nominated for several honors for her work on the project, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, which ultimately went to Regina King.
