According to information given in a recent interview with IGN, the game will contain 17 different types of weapons and more than 40 armor sets, with the possibility of transmogrification. If this appellation is not familiar to you, it is simply a question of transferring the appearance of an object to another without modifying its statistics.
In these 17 types of weapons, all have been selected with great care so that they correspond well to the Chinese historical era. According to the developers, all movements were captured on martial arts experts in order to achieve the utmost realism. A total of 13 types of weapons are intended for melee combat and 3 for ranged combat.
All items can be upgraded in forges, and special features of one item can be transferred to another. For example, you can transfer the passive status of healing from one weapon to another to specialize in defense. Also according to the developers, this allows significant customization in the gameplay, so that each player can adapt their equipment as they wish.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be available on March 3, 2023 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, as well as Xbox Series X|S and PS5. It will be integrated as soon as it is released into the Xbox Game Pass.
