An elderly woman and a little girl were fatally run over in separate incidents while walking in Brooklyn.
The first incident occurred yesterday in East Flatbush, around one in the afternoon.
According to police, a 74-year-old woman tripped and fell while walking between New York and D avenues.
While she was on the ground, a driver hit her while making a left turn.
They later confirmed his death at a hospital.
Meanwhile, in Williamsburg, a 10-year-old girl was fatally run over between Franklin Avenue and Wallabout Street. The driver in this case was also making a left turn.
In both accidents, the drivers remained at the scene.
