A woman, who has not been identified by authorities, was found dead at approximately 6:26 am this Friday, June 16, in the parking lot of the Plains Capital Bank, located at 911 West Interstate Highway 2 in Weslaco, reported Miguel Martínez, police spokesman.
According to authorities, a call was received regarding the well-being of a person in the bank’s parking lot, so police went to the scene to investigate the matter. Upon arrival, officers discovered the woman dead.
The identity of the female has not been revealed until the police notify her relatives.
Weslaco Police investigators are looking into the incident. The causes remain under investigation. Police will provide additional information when available, it said.
