The “Consulate on Wheels” program of the Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angelesyeswill visit various areas of the county during the month of July 2023 to offer services to Mexican citizens in Los Angeles County.
Some services that they could take advantage of are the issuance of passports, consular registrations and records for the application for voter identification.
HOW TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS FOR PROCEDURES AT THE MEXICO CONSULATE
The Mexican government launched on March 1, 2022 a new appointment system for consular procedures. The new system, “My Consulate”, will allow greater capacity to serve users.
“There are 400 people and they will answer approximately 35,000 calls,” said Marcela Osorio, Consul General of Mexico in Los Angeles.
To communicate and make an appointment at a Mexican consulate, you can dial the telephone number of “My consulate”, which is 424-309-0009, or visit the website for appointments, by clicking here.
People can also make an appointment by calling 424-309-0009 or by texting “Hello” to that number using the WhatsApp app.
However, Consul Osorio asks her compatriots to report it if something is not working properly.
Walk-ins will not be received on dates other than those mentioned above.

The Mexican consulate in Los Angeles launched an alert to the community after noticing that there are people who are charging to make appointments at the diplomatic headquarters.
