WowWee, a startup that operates in Hong Kong, has just presented a different option for those who like the world of dogs. It is Dog-E, a robot that has its own personality and different profiles for each owner.

It is connected through a smartphone application, in which users can define a name for the puppy. Several other interaction options are also adjusted there.

However, it is in the robot itself that users can show affection and affection. Several sensors are positioned in places like the head, nose and sides of the Dog-E’s body.

From then on, he will react to every action performed by the owners, and the set of these reactions generates the dog’s personality. He can be more lively and playful, or even more restrained and shy.

All these features are visualized through colored lights present throughout the Dog-E’s body. According to WowWee, it is possible to obtain more than a million tone combinations, according to the robot’s mood.

It is also possible to understand how the puppy is feeling through the tail, which shows emojis and simple messages – in addition to, of course, swinging when the pet is excited.

The company responsible for Dog-E said that the robot is not only aimed at children, but can also generate a lot of fun for adults.

The Dog-E is in the pre-order phase, with deliveries scheduled for the second half of the year in the US and Canada. Its official price is US$ 80 (about R$ 421 in direct conversion), and there is no forecast for commercialization of the product in Brazil.
