In addition, both the Model S and Model X are now significantly more expensive in the basic version than before. With the old Model S you could still order your vehicle for less than 100,000 euros – that’s history now. The entry-level price starts at 112,990 euros, i.e. without a color surcharge or extras. For comparison: The Model S Plaid starts at 137,990 euros.
15,000 euros more for the Model X
The price change for the Model X was also significant. The starting price is 120,990 euros (previously 105,990 euros).

Tesla’s new “2021 models” are now available across Europe. According to the Carmaker’s website delivery will even begin this month. Depending on what the customer puts together, it can take a little longer. The delivery times for both the Model S and the Model X are currently given as January to March 2023. Incidentally, both models are still not manufactured in Europe, only the final assembly of the Model S and Model X is carried out in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
