After the last test phase held in June last year, Ubisoft announces a new trial version with which users will be able to try for themselves xDefiantthe new online shooter from the French company.
Ubisoft is planning a new playtest that will allow you to play in cross play among all other platforms, so that you can put the online infrastructure under stress and test its efficiency. In the meantime, players will be able to take a look at some of the content included within the shooter experience.
“We are excited to announce the details of our cross-play Insider session”we read through a statement on the official Ubisoft website. “When the Insider cross-play session is active, eligible participants can play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|SAnd pc Together! The focus of the test is on the Cross-Play and console experience. Please grab your controller and let us know what you think in our Discord!
We also have one new map who joins us for this Insider session, Pueblito! Take in the sights of Pueblito, a fishing village in the Caribbean nation of Yara, as you try to be the MVP of your game! A couple of reminders for all who participate. Testing is under NDA and prohibits recording/live streaming/sharing of any visual content. Additionally, Insider Sessions is a place where we can connect with the community and showcase an early development version of the game to get impactful feedback. Being a preview, expect in-progress content and bugs. As a special reward, those who take this test will be able to unlock an emoji pack! Once unlocked, the ASCII package will be available in the future”.
The modes included in this version they are: Escort, Zone Control, Domination, Occupy, while the maps are the following: Pueblito, Attica Heights, Arena, Dumbo, Emporium, Liberty, Mayday, Meltdown, Midway, Nudleplex, Showtime, Times Square, Zoo.
Testing will be held on PS5, Xbox Sereies X|S and PC from 16 to 20 February. There will be a Warm-Up phase in which users will test weapons and equipment at 18:45 on February 16, while the actual session will start from 19:00 until 08:00 on February 20.
