After rumors already indicated that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would be launched on April 18, the date was officially confirmed by the brand. Through posts on its social networks, Xiaomi also showed some initial details of the device.

The teaser shows the rear camera module, which should have four lenses. This section will have a circular shape, probably with large dimensions that will occupy a good part of the back panel.

The announcement was made in conjunction with Leica, which will bring optical and software solutions to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The company’s logo should also appear on the camera module, as seen in the teaser.

Previous publications have already shown that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be available in the global market, and it is possible that it will arrive on the same day as the Chinese model.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra: what to expect?

Previous renderings had already anticipated how the Xiaomi 13 Ultra should look with a certain level of accuracy, considering what was seen in the official publication of the company:

The handset will feature prominently in its camera components, which may include four 50 MP sensors on the rear panel. The main component should be a 1-inch Sony IMX989, with variable aperture.

On the front section, a 32 MP sensor should be responsible for selfies. Some fans of the brand expect it to be able to record in 4K, but there is still no official confirmation to that effect.

The performance set should also be quite advanced, with the presence of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Your configuration options should reach 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The smartphone screen can bring 6.74 inches, with AMOLED technology and 2K resolution. This LTPO panel should still support refresh rates up to 120 Hz.

It was also said that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra should have a 4,900 mAh battery, with support for recharges of up to 90 W with cable, or 50 W wirelessly. Its operating system will be Android 13, with the MIUI 14 interface typical of the brand.
