Trends in the fashion industry are usually the first promoted by influencers on social networks, and many times they do so expectantly to get on a viral case.

This is what the influencer Yeri Mua is doing in one of her latest posts on her social network accounts, where she came out wearing the new boots from the MSCHF brand and which at the time were a trend due to their resemblance to those of the animated character Astro Boys.

On this occasion, the peculiar boots are used by the Mexican content creator, but her publications have sparked criticism, since the influencer would be using the replica footwear.

Through a video on TikTok, the shoe specialist unmasked the influencer for wearing the brand’s fake shoes and all thanks to various details that can be seen in the images that Yeri Mua posted.

“Recently, it came up that I had the Astroboy boots, everything was going well until I realized that they had several details that did not add up. The first fundamental detail is the lines below, and I think they do not have the MSCHF words, ”he begins by explaining the tiktoker with the user @ bryanpaik7.

Likewise, another of the details that the content creator mentioned is that the color of the influencer’s boots is more opaque compared to those that Yeri Mua presumes, which are very shiny “as if she had put something on them.”

“We take it for granted that they are totally fake,” ends his video that quickly went viral.

Faced with criticism during one of her live broadcasts, Yeri Mua, who has a community of more than six million followers on Instagram, revealed that the boots were a gift from a store.

It is not the first time that an influencer has been involved in this type of case, where they allegedly promote fake products, such as Chiara Ferragni, one of the most iconic figures in the world of fashion, who was involved in a controversy after she make it known that he was wearing fake Birkin bags.

All this rumor was unleashed on TikTok where several content creators said that the Instagram account “The Fake Birkin Slayer” had published evidence claiming that Chiara Ferragni bought fake Birkin bags.
