On March 28th the remake of the first The Last of Us will finally arrive on PC. As Sony announced today, the title is now available in Epic Games Store and
on Steam pre-order. However, there is a particularly beautiful edition exclusively in the PlayStation Storethe Firefly Edition.
On Steam and Epic, on the other hand, in addition to the normal version for 59.99 euros, which already contains the moving story DLC Left Behind, there is also the Digital Deluxe Edition for 69.99 euros, which in turn comes with additional extras.
Here in the picture a list of all goodies of the Digital Deluxe edition. The first would be the Digital Deluxe Edition of The Last of Us, which includes, among other things, two particularly beautiful versions of the 9mm, shotgun and bow.
Otherwise, premature unlocks of the faster crafting and healing skills, an image filter and a speedrun mode are waiting, which should please many players in particular:
The Firefly Edition, on the other hand, really packs a punch. It is available for 109.99 euros – as I said only on PlayStation self.
In addition to all the nice things that are also in the Digital Deluxe Edition, there is a limited but empty Steelbook (because the game itself only comes as a Steam code) and issues 1 to 4 of The Last of Us Comics American Dreams in a new edition with a new cover design, which is obviously really impressive:
Those who choose to pre-order the game will be rewarded with bonus add-ons and bonus weapon parts on Steam and Epic when the game launches. With this you can already unlock a few skills and upgrade weapons for which you would otherwise have to collect longer.
When The Last of Us Part 1 was released late last summer, not everyone agreed that this game needed a remake just nine years after its release. I gave my answer in the review: I love it as a way for ‘up-and-coming’ gamers to play one of the most immersive games of the last two generations to maximum impact on modern hardware.
