The rude awakening followed the next morning: “I woke up, total blackout, pain in my knees,” Steff continues. The doctor then found that the “Goodbye Germany” star had torn the inner ligaments in both knees. How it could have happened at all is a mystery to him: “Well, I have no injuries and no bruises, I have no idea how I should have done it.”

Steff doesn’t regret the wet and happy evening at all. “No, that’s part of it. I was so frustrated that I said ‘today I’m shooting myself into Neverland’ – and I did. And that’s what happened now, what should I do?” He was just unlucky – “I’m not drunk for the first time,” the 53-year-old continued.
