For a few weeks now, after more than two years of shortage, Sony’s PS5 has now been visible in stores, evolving (finally!) freely in its natural environment. Soon, a new PS5 could arrive in stores, with the Pro version.
PS5 Pro coming soon… but why? For who ?
Indeed, manufacturers have been in the habit of offering a “revision” of their new game console for a few years now, generally 3 or 4 years after the release of the initial version. This was the case on the PS3 and Xbox 360 side with Slim models, while the PS4/Xbox One generation introduced, in addition to the Slim models, new Pro models, i.e. more powerful “mid-gen” machines, to take advantage of an optimized gaming experience. And that’s obviously what’s going to happen with the PS5.
The website Insider Gaming explains that Sony would already have in its boxes new projects concerning PlayStation. On the one hand, there is talk of the upcoming launch of a portable console that will be an extension of the PS5, but it is rumored that the first PS5 Pro development kits have already been offered to certain home studios, for availability this summer. Recall that the PS5 has already undergone three revisions, very discreet, with regard to its design.

A more than realistic schedule
