Young Cuban presents improvement after serious heart disease in the United States

According to the website Periódico Cubano, Tahimi Gonzalez Martínez, a young Cuban hospitalized in the United States due to heart disease, presented an improvement that has made her family and friends happy after days of uncertainty about her health.

The West Indian woman has been in the intensive care unit of a health center since July 20, the location of which has not been disclosed. She counts on the company of her husband in this difficult situation.

From Cuba and waiting for a humanitarian visa to visit her daughter, Belkis Martínez shared on Facebook information about the recovery process of Tahimí. “They have already managed to remove the tube without complications,” expressed her mother excitedly, in addition to pointing out that the patient asked for a pen and paper to communicate with others.
