A young Kangal owes his rescue from a bad attitude to vigilant neighbors. Dortmund police speak of a “severely abused” dog.
Attentive neighbors can be worth gold. They informed the police on Tuesday evening: a woman was found in a children’s playground on Tucholskystrasse, not far from Dortmund’s Ostfriedhof hit a dog and kick him in the stomach for minutes. Also, this isn’t the first time this has happened.
The police informed the responsible veterinary office. This turned to the District Court for a search warrant for the apartment of the suspect’s keeper (20).
Three days later, on Friday, the veterinary office took him eight month old Kangal from the apartment of the 20-year-old in the street “Im Defdahl”. The street is a parallel street to Tucholskystrasse, where the playground is located.
