This is a story shared by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) of Aguascalientes to encourage organ donation. The family of the young woman who died of brain death decided to give five people the opportunity to live.

According to Social Security, that of the young fifteen-year-old It is the seventh donation of the year that is carried out in the General Hospital of Zone (HGZ) No. 2 of the Mexican Social Security Institute in Aguascalientes.

The official pointed out that the young woman’s liver was sent to the Naval Medical Center, while the kidneys and corneas were sent to the High Specialty Medical Unit (UMAE) Specialty Hospital No. 1 of the Bajío National Medical Center, located in Guanajuato.
