A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday night, at kilometer 0.8 of express 53, in the direction of Fajardo to Ceiba.
According to the Police report, José M. Rojas Roldán, 24, was traveling along the highway in a black 2015 Kawasaki ZR 1000 motorboat, presumably speeding, for which he lost control and hit a metal barrier located in the walk.
Rojas Roldán was ejected and fell on the fence, dying as a result of the injuries received.
It was indicated that the young man had an expired driver’s license and the only safety equipment he used was a protective helmet, which was not fastened correctly.
The case was investigated by the Ceiba Highway Division together with prosecutor Pedro Vargas from the Fajardo prosecutor’s office.
