A few weeks ago, shortly before Christmas, American actor Tom Cruise sent a message to his fans in his own way… by jumping out of a plane. What could be more normal after all for those who always push the limits of the impossible a little further in terms of stunts. Very recently, this same Tom Cruise was rewarded with an MTV Movie & TV Award for the film Top Gun: Maverick, which the actor wanted to recover… in his own way.

Indeed, already awarded the Oscar for best sound at the start of the year, the film Top Gun: Maverick continues to delight Tom Cruise, the actor having been recently rewarded for his performance in this sequel to the film by 1986. But rather than going to collect his trophy on a stage, in evening costume, Tom Cruise preferred to send a message of thanks aboard a P-51 Mustang, an American fighter plane designed during the Second World War.

A short video posted on social networks allows Tom Cruise to thank his many fans, the actor taking the opportunity to recall how much he appreciates entertaining spectators around the world, before wishing everyone (with a tad ‘advance) “have a great summer“.
Obviously, Tom Cruise also took the opportunity to remind you that the future Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning will be offered in two parts, the first being expected in theaters on July 12. It remains to be seen now if the latter will succeed in repeating the success met by Top Gun Maverick, a real success on the side of critics and spectators alike.
