Again, the popular festivals of the towns of Yucatan became a tragedy, after a woman was found dead being hit by his horse. The events occurred in the municipality of Buctzotz, prior to the bullfight at the town fair, when the horse was taken to the bullring to participate in the annual bullfight.
At one point, the horse was upset during the tour of 21st Street, where it first collided with a car that was driving by.
Subsequently, the horse practically ran over a woman who was on 14th street, so she had to be attended by paramedics from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP), who treated her and transferred her to the San Carlos de Tizimín hospital, where she unfortunately died.
it transpired that the woman was seriously injured, so failed to survivewhile the horse managed to be captured and its rider was identified as Josué C., originally from Dzilam González, who was arrested and presented to the corresponding authorities for the demarcation of responsibilities.

It is worth mentioning that in the last patronal fairs in which bullfights and charro canvas take place, several fatalities have been reported, such as the case of a bullfighter who was gored in the bullfighting arena of Ekmul.
Like the woman, this man died despite being taken to a hospital, he died from his injuries.
