Despite relentless fan requests over the past few months, Zack Snyder has officially settled with DC. His latest collaboration was in the form of a guest star on the animated series Teen Titans Go! and there are no plans to have him back on board, especially now that Warner Bros. Discovery is ready for a new course with DC Studios. However, fans of the director did not give up and launched a new online petition with the hashtag #SellSnyderVersetoNetflix.

Zack Snyder Justice League

A petition is underway to bring Zack Snyder’s films to Netflix

The object of the, which quickly became viral and also a trend topic on Twitter, was to ask Warner to sell the rights to the SnyderVerse to Netflix. Fans have even organized a digital event in which they will try to share the hashtag as much as they can, scheduled for February. Despite the relentless fan campaign, which led to the release of the Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max, Warner Bros, and DC Films have no plans in mind to continue the SnyderVerse. The RollingStone article according to which social campaigns were the result of bots has caused discussion (but in our opinion the SnyderCut remains equally epic).

Snyder himself had stated in a recent interview how busy he was with his projects and that he had not had any contact with the new leaders of DC. The rumored director is working on Rebel Moon, an epic sci-fi project heavily inspired by Star Wars and the films of Akira Kurosawa. The story of Rebel Moon is set on a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that finds itself under threat from the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. The inhabitants decide to rebel and recruit warriors from around the galaxy who can join their mission. The film is coming exclusively to Netflix this year.
