Zelda: They create a great replica of the Hylian Shield made in stained glass

A creative artist and fan of The Legend of Zelda has wowed the community by showing off his authentic stained glass Hylian shield. The creation is wonderful to look at and has required a lot of work to complete.

The Hylian shield, while not known by name, is probably one of the most recognizable items for players. The iconic shield design contains both the Triforce and the Hylian Shieldand has been ported by Link in almost all games of Zelda since making the transition to 3D with Ocarina of Time.

Reddit user Cellocalypsedown has shared his impressive work with the community of Zelda. The replica of Hylian Shield of Twilight Princess has a flawless appearance, and each piece of glass has been painstakingly molded and placed to closely match the original design of the shield.

The choice of colors is also impeccable, with the deep blues, vibrant red and gold of the Triforce popping spectacularly when light hits them.

In the comments, Zelda fans have been quick to praise Cellocalypsedown’s work. According to the creative fan, the entire project took about 30 hours of work from start to finish, and an album of images gives other fans glimpses of the project from the beginning, when the design was still on paper. It seems that it has also inspired some fans to consider taking stained glass classes.
