Zelensky informs of the decision to reinforce the border of Ukraine with Belarus

Kiev. – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced today the decision to reinforce the border with Belarus after chairing a meeting of the General Staff, in which he was informed of the progress on the battlefield.

“The decision of the General Staff to the commander-in-chief Zaluzhni and the commander of ‘Pivnich’ (North) Naiev is to apply a series of measures to reinforce this front,” the president wrote on his Telegram account.

He specified that he heard the reports from the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeri Zaluzhny; and the commanders of the Land Forces, Oleksandr Sirski; from the Tavria Operational Group, Oleksandr Tarnavski; and of the joint forces of the Ukrainian army, Sergei Nayev.

«Situation on the battlefield: there is progress. Reinforcement of our operations with artillery systems and additional shells,” he noted.

He added that the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR), the Foreign Intelligence Service (SZR), the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the State Border Guard Service (DPSU) separately reported the situation in Belarus.

“We keep her under constant supervision,” he said.
