Subway service on the B train is suspended in both directions as firefighters work to put out a fire on the tracks of the Manhattan Bridge, the MTA reported.
The FDNY was still extinguishing the flames at 8:44 a.m., according to the MTA.
Commuters should use the A, C, D and Q trains while the FDNY works to put out the flames, officials said.
Commuters are experiencing delays on several lines as a result of the track fire, including the D, R and W, the MTA said.
It is currently unclear how the fire started.
