Disney wins first Michelin star with restaurant in Florida

For more than 20 years, Victoria & Albert’s has dazzled guests with a multi-course experience packed with flavors and the highest quality ingredients from around the world. Beyond culinary creations in the kitchen, the team is also dedicated to curating a world-class wine collection that includes more than 500 different selections.

To achieve these goals, the culinary space is under the direction of chef Matthew Sowers, who has almost 20 years of work at Victoria & Albert’s and with experience creating acclaimed menus for the Remy restaurant, on the Disney Dream ships and Disney Fantasy from Disney Cruise Line.

Joining Sowers is pastry chef Ally Rogers, who leads the resort’s entire pastry team.

Michelin star and other recognitions

A special service award was also presented at the ceremony: the Florida Service Award 2024 was received by Israel Pérez.
