Don't let anyone tell you what you can or can't achieve.

Univision will broadcast the ceremony live starting at 8 pm.

Celebrity night, leading up to the awards, take viewers behind the scenes to learn a little more about how the stars prepare for a night of glitter and music, with real-time interviews.

It also brings together stellar performances by Carin Len, Marc Anthony, Chino Pacas, Lenny Tavrez, Milo Beat, Nacho, Sergio George, Venesti, Zhamira Zambrano, AB Quintanilla, Dalex, Danny Ocean, Dimelo Flow, Los 2 de la S, Morat and Ryan Castro.

For this edition, singer and actress Thala joins fellow performer and television heartthrob Carlos Ponce. Both will be accompanied by the model, actress and presenter Alejandra Espinoza.

The former beauty queen, who has previously had the opportunity to host the Premios Juventud and Premio Lo Nuestro, expressed in an interview with DIARIO LAS AMRICAS her excitement at being able to host the Latin AMAs for the first time.

I am very happy and excited, with a lot of energy. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a program like this, with the public, with people; and your energy accumulates. I’m honestly very excited, I started the conversation.

Espinoza pointed out that part of his spirit is also due to sharing the stage with two greats in the Latin entertainment industry, with whom he assured that he would enjoy not only the big night but also the entire preparation process.

I am also happy for the colleagues I had to work with on this occasion and I am sure that we are going to have a great time.

Preparacin

For Alejandra, the days prior to the award ceremony are important in her preparation, as she considers that, first of all, she needs to project the emotion as much as possible so that when she is in front of the public and the cameras, it does not play a bad role in her.

“I have to get out the emotion I have so it doesn’t overwhelm me when it’s there,” he said, laughing.

Regarding how to look that night, she explained that she has already had meetings with her stylist, with whom she is evaluating the costumes from other editions of the Latin AMAs to define the look with which she will debut on this stage.

We’re making a list of looks we want to achieve. It is not very clear to me if the style we should use is very formal or informal because it is not a gala, but I cannot wear shorts either. So we have to find the line we are going to carry, look for the designers, establish if I want them to make a dress for me or if it can be obtained through a publicist. We are in this process, which is my favorite part because it is when I have the most fun.

Regarding rehearsals, he emphasized that the busiest days will be from April 20, when the entire team meets to read the scripts.

There are script readings. And if there are certain changes, adjust it according to how you feel comfortable.

Your mark at the Latin AMAs

As it is her first time as host of the event, Alejandra Espinoza recognizes that each award ceremony has a different energy, so she does not have a clear expectation of the public.

However, he confesses that this will not be an impediment to enjoying the night and leaving his mark.

Although he will not star in any special performance, he considers that his contribution will be the sincere joy of connecting with Latin talent and the public that celebrates him.

I think that when you have a good time, the public also notices and has fun. If you are well, calm and enjoy what you are doing, in the end you will infect the audience. That is my mission, to always spread what I am doing with energy and good vibes so that people can feel it.

I would love to tell you that my contribution would be singing or dancing, but that is not on my list of talents, he added, laughing.

Espinoza reflected on the importance of working for one’s dreams and making great efforts and sacrifices, since it has been that perseverance that today allows him to be the image of this award.

Work very hard for your dreams, trust in your dreams and believe in your greatness. I am a faithful believer that there is no such thing as a very big dream when one works hard, when one stays up late, does not go to parties or events. You have to leave a lot aside to conquer your dreams and achieve them, but it is always worth it. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can or cannot achieve in life.

Finally, he invited everyone to tune in to the Latin American Music Awards.

Don’t miss the awards on April 25 at 8 pm on Univision, Vix and UniMs.
