Everything you need to know about the Latin AMAs 2024

MIAMI.- The ninth edition of the Latin American Music Awards is approaching (Latin AMAs), to have a show full of artists with premieres, presentations and musical collaborations. Under the motto We Speak Msica, The event will make history as the first awards ceremony to be broadcast bilingually in the United States.

Hosted by Becky G, Thala, Alejandra Espinoza and Carlos Ponce, the ceremony of this 2024 will take place tomorrow from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

How and where to see the award?

The Latin AMAs will be broadcast simultaneously on Univision, Unims, Galavisión and ViX beginning with the show anteroom celebrity night at 7:00 pm ET.

Additionally, fans will be able to enjoy an exclusive second-screen experience on Univision’s YouTube channel, which will feature a live broadcast showing all the behind-the-scenes action on Latin AMAs night starting at 6:30 p.m. until 11:00 pm ET

How to watch the new pre-show celebrity night?

This year Univision will offer the audience a new experience with the launch of the new show anteroom celebrity night beginning at 7:00 pm ET.

The pre-show will take viewers behind the camera with special interviews and real-time interactions with the artists, and provide content that will be available on the multiple Televisa-Univision platforms, allowing the audience access to all the action that will surround the awards night.

Special recognitions

The ninth edition of the Latin AMAs will celebrate the award-winning Mexican music group Banda MS de Sergio Lizrraga and Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner, who will receive the special Latin AMA Legacy Award for musical legacy. While Yandel, recognized as one of the great exponents of reggaeton, will be honored with the special Latin AMA Pioneer award for his contribution and being a pioneer within the urban genre.

Who are the main nominees?

Urban genre star Feid and Mexican music sensation Peso Pluma lead the list, with 12 nominations each. Followed by Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera, with 11; Karol G and Shakira, with nine nominations; Armed Link and Ruled Force, with eight.
