CDMX.- The Prince Harry book and his revelations about the Royal Family achieved record sales with nearly 1.5 million copies sold on its first day on the market, according to Penguin Random House.
Although the figure only counts the English version of the text “In the Shadow”, in all its presentations and distributed in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, the publisher described this as an unprecedented fact.
The publisher has not given figures on the other 15 languages in which the book was published, four months after the death of Isabel II and four months before the coronation of King Carlos III. The book contains revelations from Enrique about the Royal Family.
King Carlos III remains silent in the face of questions
This Thursday, King Carlos III made his first public appearance after the release of “En la Sombra”, where Enrique expressed his dissatisfaction with the union between the monarch and the now Queen Consort, Camila.
During his visit to the Aboyne Community Shed in a Scottish town, the monarch deflected questions about the Duke of Sussex’s book.
At the moment, neither Buckingham Palace nor any of the royals have commented on Harry’s revelations.
