17-year-old stabbed to death near Queens subway

A 17-year-old teenager fatally stabbed is the latest victim of a wave of violent incidents that occurred this week in which the victims have been minors.

This latest event occurred last night at around 9:25 pm in the vicinity of Queens Boulevard and 46th Street, in the Sunnyside sector.

Upon arriving at the scene, the agents observed a 17-year-old minor with a stab wound to the neck.

The young woman was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A person of interest was detained, while the investigation is ongoing.

Added to this fact are at least four unrelated incidents that have left several minors injured this week.

One of them occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the Bronx, where a pair of 15-year-old teenagers were stabbed in front of a McDonald’s in Charlotte Gardens.

The police also reported an attack on a 17-year-old boy who was shot in the back outside Amsterdam Houses, on the Upper West Side.

And three other teenagers, all aged 15, were stabbed in two separate attacks on Tuesday.

One of them received a cut on the back of the head during an argument on an MTA bus in the Bronx.

The other two teenagers were injured in a stabbing at the intersection of South Second and Keap Streets in Brooklyn.
