On Monday afternoon there was a traffic accident in Alberschwende. An 18-year-old was injured.
On Monday, April 10, 2023, at around 11:35 a.m., an 18-year-old man from Höchst drove a car on the L200 coming from Alberschwende in the direction of Egg.
At the level of the Thurner Elektrobau company, the driver probably dozed off for a short time due to fatigue. He lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road and hit the right front of the vehicle against a tree (diameter approx. 15 cm) next to the road.
Due to the force of the impact, the tires of the car lost contact with the ground, the vehicle overturned on the left side of the vehicle and finally came to a standstill on the left side of the road. The tree was partially uprooted by the impact. A boundary post there was also damaged.
The 18-year-old driver apparently suffered only minor injuries. The vehicle was totaled.
