Really emotional. This is what Guadalupe, the mother of Sofía Tummo (21 years old), told, who fell from the 5th floor of a 44-storey building between 1 and 2 on March 28 and remained hospitalized for almost 20 days in intensive care.

What happened is that she woke up from the coma and really told what happened on that horrible day. The victim claimed that it was her boyfriend, Facundo, who threw her from a balcony after an argument.

But everything has a story behind it. Beyond the strong confession that Sofía made, her mother attributed it to a “miracle” that she woke up and that she is in good health, despite everything she experienced.

This is because, while he was taking care of his daughter in intensive care at the San Martín Hospital, he ran into a nun, who was a great help. She recounts: “It was at 116 and 71. I found a nun in the intensive care corridor, I first looked towards the corridor and there was no one, this was what mobilized me too, because I don’t believe in anything. I’m leaving to wash my hands and suddenly someone grabs me by the arm and it was a nun and says to me: `What family member are you here for?’ pray to this lady who is a healer.

Along the same lines, Guadalupe provided more details about what happened: “We did it with my ex-mother-in-law, Sofi’s grandmother, and hours after that they began to take tubes out of her, because she is fine. First she started with the vital signs and we they began to say that she was going to be stable. It was a miraculous recovery, in 18 days she came out of intensive care and she had it for months. We prayed and Sofia’s whole situation began to change, thank God.”

The stamp in question was of Blessed Mother Clelia, founder of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

“Today she is fine, thank God, miraculously. We could not believe the recovery she had, not even the doctors. We attributed it to a miracle from Blessed that we prayed to her there in the hospital when she was in intensive care. They told us that she could not spend the night, the afternoon, the night, the afternoon, every day like this, until he began to react, they began to remove the tubes,” he added to the story.

What is known in the last few hours is that Facundo Lemos, 23, was arrested by the DDI of La Plata after the statements that Sofía herself made to her family. The cause is labeled as “Attempted Homicide”.

The story of Blessed Mother Clelia

Clelia Merloni, Foundress of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, was born in Forlí, Italy, on March 10, 1861. Her mother, Maria Teresa Brandinelli, died when Clelia was three years old. Her father, Joaquin Merloni, a wealthy industrialist, married Maria Giovanna Boeri, who, along with her grandmother, taught her much about faith and helped Clelia develop a strong and confident personality.

In 1876, he began his studies at the boarding school of the Daughters of Our Lady of Purification, in Savona, but left after a year due to illness. She was educated at home, in foreign languages and piano. Her father planned a life of luxury and marriage for her, but her only desire was religious life.

In 1883, she entered the Congregation of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Snows (Savona) as Sr. Albina, but she returned to her house after just four years, due to her failing health.

In 1892, Clelia entered the Congregation of the Daughters of Our Lady of Providence in Como, where she dedicated herself to religious life with joy and zeal. After an apparently miraculous recovery from tuberculosis at the end of a novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, she understood that God’s plan for her life was to found a religious Congregation of Sisters consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus that they would dedicate themselves to the good of the poor, the orphans and the abandoned, and would offer their lives of good works for the conversion of sinners. (For Clelia, the latter meant especially the salvation of the soul of her father who was an atheist and belonged to Freemasonry).

On May 30, 1894, in the Church of San Francesco, in Viareggio, Clelia, together with two companions, was presented as the first Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A new Congregation was born.

The Institute grew rapidly. Clelia opened a nursery school, a home for the elderly and an orphanage, all thanks to the generous financial support of her father. As the number of sisters grew, the works multiplied, also outside of Viareggio. With the death of her father, in San Remo, on June 27, 1895, Clelia became the sole beneficiary of her estate. Her deathbed conversion was the fruit of Clelia’s prayers and sacrifices over the years.

By Divine Providence, Mother Clelia had the opportunity to meet the Bishop of Piacenza, John Baptist Scalabrini. In 1900, she sent the Apostles on a mission to help the Italian immigrants who were settling in Brazil, and two years later to Boston (USA).

Mother Clelia and 18 Apostles made their religious profession in the Cathedral of Piacenza on June 11, 1900.

On February 28, 1904, by decree of the Vatican, Mother Clelia was removed from her title of Superior General, passing the government to Mother Marcelina Viganó.

After a year, she was reinstated, but three apostolic visits followed, at the end of which Mother Clelia was once again removed from her post by a decree of the Congregation for Religious on September 13, 1911.

Mother Clelia died in Rome on November 2, 1930, and was buried in the Campo de Verano cemetery, which was bombed during World War II.

On July 18, 1943, during World War II, Allied planes bombed the area around the San Lorenzo train station, also reaching the Verano cemetery, where many graves were destroyed and damaged. Waiting for the end of the war in 1945, the search began to find the remains of the Founder, in the midst of devastation. Days later, the workers found Mother Clelia’s coffin still sealed, which was brought to the presence of the Superior General for its opening. Mother Clelia’s body was incorrupt.

From that moment on, an uninterrupted procession of Religious began for the Verano Cemetery to see the body of Mother Clelia. Many people were trusting in her intercession, touching her body and giving thanks.

On May 20, 1945, Solemnity of Pentecost, the body of Mother Clelia was solemnly transferred in funeral procession to the Church dedicated to Santa Margarita de Alacoque, in the General House.

The mortal remains were placed on the right wall of the Church of the General House, the inscription engraved on its marble tombstone: “Mother Clelia Merloni, founder of the Apostles Institute of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The heart of Jesus was the light of his existence. The poor, the oppressed, the unhappy, her most tender heartbeat. She lived purity, simplicity and charity”.

Who is Facundo Lemos, the accused of the murder

After the victim’s own statements, accusing her boyfriend of wanting to throw her off the balcony (which would rule out a suicide attempt), all eyes turned to who the alleged murderer really was.

He is 23 years old and is nicknamed “Over”. He is a carpenter, juggler and musician, as he described in the investigation, and he was the one who refused to testify before the prosecutor in the case, Betina Lacki in the last hours.

The event occurred on March 28 of this year. The first investigations tried to determine the mechanics of the event. If it had been thrown or, if it was thrown into the void with the intention of attempting against her life. In these circumstances, due to the multiple injuries suffered by the impact and the unconscious state in which he was fighting for his life, the only information available was the information provided by some witnesses.

According to the arrest warrant, “he punched him in different parts of his body, calming down for a moment, when the victim went to the window and prepared to light a cigarette, at which time the subject, without After saying a word, he approached, took her by the neck and, with the clear intention of killing her, threw her into the void.
