The incident occurred around 7:30 pm in front of a residence in the 14000 block of Harrison Street, when the occupants of a moving vehicle opened fire indiscriminately.
Miami-Dade Police Detective Luis Sierraindicated that a group of people were talking at the door of the house when a car passed by shooting, wounding the victim.
The young woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was quickly transferred to Jackson South’s Ryder Trauma Center by her family and underwent surgery. According to America TeVeThe victim is in stable condition.
The police are carrying out an investigation to capture those responsible, without having so far revealed details about the vehicle or the suspects involved. It is unknown if the injured young woman resided in the home or was visiting.
