With expert, documentary and testimonial evidence, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) managed to verify that Fernando Alcides Gutiérrez Rivera is guilty of having repeatedly raped a teenager. For the victim, the fiscal institution achieved justice and his attacker was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The investigation highlights that, in October 2010, the victim and his family changed their address and moved to some apartments in Santa Ana; her defendant lived in that place and since the adolescent arrived, he harassed her.

He eventually got the victim to be his girlfriend, and often hinted at them having sex but she refused. Despite the refusal of the minor, the accused forces her and sexually assaults her.

Upon realizing the situation, the mother of the adolescent filed the complaint and Rivera is captured and criminally prosecuted for the crime of rape of a minor or incapable in its modality of continued crime.
