If you feel like you’re spending hours looking for a series on your streaming platform, you’re far from alone. We continue today to clear the catalog of Netflix and Disney + in the register of humor. Some of the series we have chosen are very well known, others a little less so.

Funny

We start with the least known. This French series created by Fanny Herrero allows us to follow the adventures of 4 young comedians who are trying somehow to get started on the Parisian stand-up scene.

It is the beginning of a path punctuated by galleys that this original Netflix creation presents to us. We laugh a lot, but we also sometimes have to deal with poignant moments as the life of a stand-upper is anything but a long calm river.

The Office (US)

It is a very great classic that we offer here. Nevertheless, The Office is also one of those series that everyone knows (via memes and short videos), but which deserves to be watched over time.

We are immersed in the daily life of the Dunder Mifflin paper mill, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in the early 2000s. The production is original and it resembles a mockumentary. Hilarious, this fiction shines with its very endearing characters: Jim, Dwight, Andy. And how not to quote this boss, supreme caricature of the average American in Homer Simpson mode: Michael Scott (Steve Carell).

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

More recent, the series starring Andy Samberg, allows us to follow the story of a police station in Brooklyn. Nothing goes as planned in these often flawed investigations, and that’s precisely what we appreciate the most in this production: it parodies the detective series wonderfully.

As in The Office, we are dealing with a gallery of endearing characters: special mention for Gina Linetti, Charles Boyle, but also Rosa Diaz. You can go for it without hesitation.

Only Murders in the Building

This is the newest series on our list. Three neighbors of a building passionate about criminal investigations meet and try to solve a murder that has occurred in the building.

Caustic, this Disney + series wants a detour, especially for the chemistry that is created between the three characters and their interpreters: Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez.

Of course, this selection is far from exhaustive, and there are other quality comedy series to be found on Netflix and Disney+. If you have other ideas, feel free to comment to make suggestions to the community.
