SEGA and Yoko Taro (father of NieR Automata) have announced 404 Game Re:Set (Error Game Reset), a new RPG for iOS and Android that will be officially presented on February 10 at 12:00 Italian time with a premiere also broadcast on YouTube.
We know very little about this project, the teaser countdown posted on YouTube would suggest Cyberpunk or Sci-Fi atmospheres but it is only a hypothesis and at the moment it is difficult to find out more.
It is currently possible to pre-register on App Store And Google Play, registered users will receive up to 10 bonus Gacha spins. After the Voice of Cards series, Yoko Taro changes gender and offers us a new project focused on mobile platforms, the collaboration with SEGA of Japan is surprising but we must remember how Yoko Taro is in fact a freelancer and not an employee of Square Enix, publisher with whom he created the NieR series.
We’ll know more about it on Friday 10 February 404 Game Re:Setat the moment it is not clear if the launch of the game is also expected in the West or if the app will remain confined to Japan only but considering the recall of the name Yoko Taro, it is very likely that SEGA will localize the game (at least) in English for Europe and the United States.
