62-year-old man arrested for allegedly exposing his genitals to people in Brownsville

Saúl Rincón García, 62, was arrested in Brownsville after he allegedly exposed his genitals to people who were exercising in a park, police said in a statement.

The incident occurred on August 12 at Dean Porter Park, located at 501 East Ringgold Street. Agents went to the scene after a call denouncing the alleged indecent exposure.

When they arrived at the scene, the police officers contacted five people who declared that a man, later identified as Rincón García, was exposing his genitals and getting aroused.

In addition, the victims stated that they had their children with them but that they had their backs to Rincón García at the time of the incident and did not see their genitals. People also stated that they were offended and worried about the children present.

According to Brownsville Police, Rincón García initially stated that his genitals had come out of his pants because the zipper was not working. However, on the way to jail he allegedly admitted that he had removed his genitalia because he was getting aroused while he watched the victims exercise.

The man was taken into custody and taken to the Brownsville City Jail. Rincón García was arraigned on August 13, 2023 and was granted a $10,000 bond.
