Ciudad Juárez— Seven people were detained on Monday by elements of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) because they had outstanding arrest warrants, six for drug dealing crimes and one for sexual harassment, reported Adrián Sánchez Contreras, spokesman for the corporation.
The official pointed out that 20-year-old Abel HG was arrested at Soneto 154 and Mesa Central streets, in the San Francisco neighborhood, when he was accused of disturbing public order and had an arrest warrant for crimes against health, dated 22 last February.
Jorge David JR, 30, was arrested on Rodolfo Fierro and Francisco Sarabia streets, in the Northern Division, in compliance with an arrest warrant issued on January 4, 2023, it was announced.
He added that 33-year-old Luis David CO, was arrested in Bulgaria and Zaragoza Boulevard, in the Oasis neighborhood, for committing acts of annoyance and due to an arrest warrant for the crime of sexual harassment, issued on March 29, 2023.
Luis Ángel BS, 26, was arrested on Chihuahua streets and Zaragoza boulevard, in the División del Norte neighborhood, for disturbing public order and had two arrest warrants for drug dealing, both issued on April 12, the report said.
Arturo Alfredo DC, 28, was arrested on Ingeniero Agustín Macías de la O street and the Camino Real Peripheral, in the La Campesina neighborhood, for having an arrest warrant issued on July 5, 2022, according to the spokesman.
He added that Marco Aurelio GM, 30, was arrested on Paseo Triunfo de la República and Adolfo de la Huerta, in the Colonia Monumental, after being caught committing acts of nuisance on public roads and there was an arrest warrant in force for crimes against health, from March 1, 2023.
Lastly, he said that José Manuel OH, 20, was arrested on Salomón Acosta Baylón street and Manuel Talamás Camandari boulevard, in the Carlos Castillo Peraza neighborhood, because he had an arrest warrant for crimes against health, dated 16 November 2022.
All of them were taken to the State Attorney’s Office in the Northern Zone, an instance that made them available to the judges who ordered their capture.
