9-year-old girl gets special wheelchair in time for Taylor Swift concert

A 9-year-old girl got a very special surprise just in time to see Taylor Swift in concert on Wednesday night.

Madison Hendrickson is described as a “big Swiftie” who just got the surprise of her life, courtesy of a non-profit organization that equips special wheelchairs for children of all ages.

She ordered a Taylor Swift-themed chair about a year and a half ago and received it in the parking lot.

“He used Taylor’s songs to get her through some hospital stays. She would sing them with her sister on Facetime calls,” said Christine Getman of magicwheelchair.org.

The little girl knew she was going to the Taylor Swift concert, but was told her wheelchair needed some repairs.

She was brought to the outskirts of SoFi Stadium for her first look at her new Taylor Swift-themed wheelchair.

Madison’s favorite album is “Reputation,” and Taylor Swift sometimes appears on stage with a huge snake head.

So that’s what now surrounds the young woman’s wheelchair, and she squealed with delight the moment she saw it.

Bianka was just 3 years old when basketball legend Kobe Bryant died in the tragic plane crash.

“I love seeing her happy like this. This is beyond the happy moon,” said Halsey Hendrickson, the girl’s mother.

The snake is painted in Madison’s favorite color purple and has sconces on the back, just the way she likes them.

Madison has lived with cerebral palsy, along with other medical problems, and this gift of the magical wheelchair will give her just one reason to forget about all of that tonight.

The other reason is to see your pop star idol in concert, live on stage.

Taylor Swift and tens of thousands of Swifties will continue to feel the music together on Wednesday night; and one of them will have the coolest wheelchair in the whole stadium.
