A former Croatian international, sentenced to prison for not passing the pension to his ex-wife

The former Croatian international footballer with a past in teams such as Aston Villa, Bruges and Dinamo Zagreb, Bosko Balaban, has been sentenced by a Zagreb court to one year in prison for not having paid his ex-wife the pension to support their children for six years.

The sentence, as explained HLN, came out in 2021. Balaban was sentenced to one year in prison and four years of probation, although they ended up being commuted in exchange for paying the pension in the following two years.
