It happened in Mendoza on Monday in the match between Rivadavia Básquet and Tucumán BB, for the Argentine League, second division of our basketball. The locals were winning easily by almost twenty points with seven minutes remaining and a fight broke out that ended with 15 expelled.

It was like this: the player from Tucumán BB Ignacio Echeverría cut with an unsportsmanlike foul the point guard from Rivadavia, Alejo Andrés, who reproached him for the slap. Echeverría stood up and the local Tobías Cravero entered to separate. The thing would not have happened from there if José Enrique Muruaga, from Tucuman, did not hit the push he gave. There it was assembled between the two campuses.

The three referees Silvio Guzmán, Franco Ronconi and Romina Morales resorted to the basketball VAR and decided to expel and disqualify 15 players, 8 from the Mendoza team and 7 from Tucuman. So there were three basketball players on each side and they finished the game, with Rivadavia winning 88 to 65 for the locals.
