It looks like SEGA still has some nice surprises to offer in the coming months as a leaked video shows at least two major new games in the works at the publisher. A short passage of a new Jet Set Radio is visible for a few seconds.

The new Jet Set Radio shows itself

The video of the day was posted on Twitter by a fan of the Persona franchise who says he was sent a video from an internal SEGA meeting that took place in 2021.

The source is not identifiable, but the video presents us quite distinctly with the Sonic Frontiers games, a remake of Persona 3 with an attack by Yukari, but above all a new Jet Set Radio.

The rendering of Sonic Frontiers seems more elaborate than the game released at the end of last year, but we must admit that this video seems far too clean to prove to be a fake.

There are several reasons why we can give him credit. The first is that a Persona 3 Remake is confirmed by Gematsu sources, the game has been in development for several years already. The second is that a new Jet Set Radio game had already been mentioned by the sources of Bloomberg last year. According to them, big budget reboots of Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio are in the works as part of the Super Game initiative which aims to reach wider audiences.

For its part, the site SEGAbits confirms having seen concept images of the next Jet Set Radio game in a survey sent by SEGA, and indicates that the images shared about it lately stick with what they have seen. Another one image shared this weekend also fits perfectly with the video of the day, where we see the character Beat in a street of Shibuya.

As we can see, several elements converge to lead us to believe that this video is rather convincing. All that remains is to wait for the official announcements from SEGA, perhaps for this summer on the occasion of the festivities expected in the world of gaming.
